[1991-08-01] 娃娃 大雨 Core Album Highlights
- Big Rain (大雨): The title track, written and composed by Chen Kuan-chien, uses a heavy downpour as a metaphor for the heartbreak of betrayal and the journey toward self-healing. It remains an absolute classic in Mandopop history.
- Drifting Across the Ocean to See You (飄洋過海來看你): Written and produced by the legendary Jonathan Lee, this song was inspired by Wa Wa’s real-life, painful long-distance romance with a poet from Beijing. Jonathan Lee famously sold his Mercedes-Benz to help fund the production expenses for this very album.
