“Lonely Bomb” (寂寞轰炸) is the fifth Mandarin studio album by Taiwanese singer Jonathan Chang (张克帆). It was officially released on August 11, 1998, under 福茂唱片 (Linfair Records) and 正东唱片 (Go East Entertainment).
This album marked a significant transition for Jonathan Chang, shifting away from his traditional romantic idol persona to experiment with more diverse musical styles, including R&B vocal techniques, British pop rock, and American energetic rock. The highly acclaimed title track, “Lonely Bomb,” was produced by the renowned musician Steve Chou (小刚) with lyrics by Daryl Yao (姚若龙). To perfect its delivery, Chang spent four intensive weeks in the recording studio refining his vocals.
