“Reborn” is the seventh Cantonese studio album by Hong Kong singer Nicholas Tse (谢霆锋), released on June 13, 2003. Distributed by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), this album marked his high-profile musical comeback after a 10-month hiatus from the entertainment industry.
Album Concept & Visuals
- Theme of Rebirth: The title “Reborn” symbolized a fresh start and a resilient, healthy image following a period of personal and legal setbacks.
- Art Direction: Shot by renowned photographer Wing Shya, the album cover features Tse covered in mud to represent breaking through hardships. He posed alongside a Husky dog, which symbolized the will to survive.
- Bonus Item: The limited deluxe edition included a collectible bandana, a personal favorite accessory of Tse at the time.
